Trendy Color Schemes 2020

Dec 4, 2019, Pantone has announced Color of the Year 2020. Now that we all know PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue is going to dominate the design world. Here comes the question, how to match it with your current palette?

Works perfectly with bright colors

If your branding color happens to be on the opposite side of the color wheel, don't worry, the Classic Blue can blend in smoothly. It also brings balance and harmony to the whole image.

Add it to your earth tone scheme

Blue is always considered as one of the pure-natural colors. As Pantone states in the introduction article:

Suggestive of the sky at dusk

Exploring different shades of color usually helps when looking for the best option. Try to adjust the brightness/hue of the classic blue, you might be surprised with the results.

Adjacent colors create beautiful contrasts

Theoretically, adjacent colors - or analogous colors - often used to deliver a serene and peaceful feeling. It's actually also a very good way to indicate the contrast.
